I got off to a really excited start with the serial here, and then after posting what amounts to the prologue work became…very difficult. On top of that I’ve been trying to put in applications wherever I can to find a better fit. I’ve had a few promising interviews, but ultimately, so far, nothing has panned out. Due to these things, I’ve failed to keep up with the writing that I want to do.
However! I believe in tenacity and the virtue of not staying down. I’m going to try to use NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) 2021 as a way to jumpstart getting caught up on the time writing that I’ve missed–and then some.
Every Sunday for the next month I’ll be posting special issues of the serial that are composed of everything I’ve written for NaNo that week, no matter how little or how much. Due to the nature of NaNoWriMo, these aren’t going to be as polished as the prologue. Hopefully, at some point in the future I will be able to revisit these posts and clean them up, but the point is just to start writing again.
